I read this as I am currently simmering my very first ham and bean soup, something I’ve wanted to make for probably 20 years. I am all for a great ham sandwich after the holidays, but this is filling the house with warmth and a smell that is amazing.

Almost bought a GTO when I was in the same situation; daughter 1 driving, daughter 2 a couple years away. Came down to the Goat and an Infiniti M45. The stick almost won me over, but the M has a V8 and Damn it’s nice inside (and yeah, it has 4 doors). Sometimes though, I still think about that Goat . . .
