This was my first thought.

That’s kinda what I thought too, that Komen was super overrated?

Any other company, besides Komen, and I’d be infuriated by this.

Okay so I want to be all feminist enraged...but Komen is shit...

Right? I just stared at her hand for like 5 minutes trying to make it out.

“Why do you have the #28 in roman numerals on your shoulder?”

“It’s how many men I’ve killed.”

you can’t even really see it

“I was with Liam [Hemsworth]’s family and everybody was getting tattoos and I was like, well, I’m always gonna need to be hydrated so I guess I should get H2O on my hand.”

I like this, I like it a lot. Whenever people ask me what I’ll do if I eventually regret my tattoo I say, “Look, I have all kinds of marks on my body that I didn’t ask for and I don’t like. I have scars, I have stretch marks, funny freckles, weird bumps, whatever. Those are all permanent too. I CHOOSE my tattoo, and I

okay but like lets circle back to the main story here which is why in the fuck would you get h20 tattooed on yourself

It’s almost like women are humans who generally know what’s best for them and their lives.

Exactly. I wish either of them had simply said, “had I known my bandmate was being raped, I would have protected her. I don’t remember the incident, but at the time I was only 15 years old and may not have even realized what was happening that night.”

Yeah, I would be more than understanding if they said “I didn’t understand what was happening” or “I was wasted and I didn’t even notice, I wish I had done something.” But they’re totally blowing off her experience.

TBH I just feel fucking terrible for all of these women, who were girls sent off into an inevitably

Polygraph tests don't mean shit if you take them 30+ years after the fact. The more time passes after an incident, the more likely you'll pass a polygraph test, because you have all that time to convince yourself that you're innocent, or that it happened differently than how others are saying it happened.

And the jumping in with a lie detector test?! Very Maury.

I’m so conflicted about this, because Jackie herself (the rape victim of Fowley) bascially called Cherie a liar for saying Kim Fowley was a perverted creep, Cherie’s saying she’s going to take a polygraph test and her statement makes sense, etc.....I guess I just have a hard time accepting that Cherie, a rape victim

Isn't she saying that if it were even true she could give a forgivable excuse and be done with it, but it's not even true.

It seems that Jackie had other witnesses. I get it if young Joan and Cherie didn’t recognize how bad what was happening was, or if they naively thought Jackie was fine with it, because they were stoned or drunk themselves. But they both come off rather damn callous.

Yeah, that’s never going to happen 20 years from now.

You could always find Tim again and fight him. It worked before, might work again?
