I kind of think being that person is ok. Unfortunately I can't post photos of my gorgeous asshole mutt kitteh, but I assure you, he is totally a mutt from the shelter and undoubtedly the most photogenic of all 4 of my shelter (minus one from craigslist) cats.

Part of growing up is realizing that sometimes, your opinion doesn't matter. Sure, you're entitled to all the opinions you want, but you're not entitled to have your opinions respected; i.e., a cis person thinking their opinion on what a trans person calls him or herself is actually important.

The curfew is ridiculous. I'm surprised they didn't run it from 8pm to 8am.

Oh man. Understanding vernacular is hard!

Tell you what. Google "intersectional feminism 101", sit and think long and hard about your privilege, and then think about what you've said. Sure, we "should" be united. It's hard when white feminism, as a population, has traditionally ignored POC and the working class.

I understand, sorry I was snippy. I'm pretty upset that people go through this and it seriously freaks me out. I submitted my info to the NARAL in my state anyway, because at least then I'll be more in the loop, hopefully.

You are a hero and a scholar. And probably a saint as I'm assuming you didn't give his psychotic ass a beatdown.

I didn't say that I want to escort just for funsies. I genuinely loathe that women have to go through this, and it pulls out a mean streak in me. I'm glad my state has buffer zones and that the 1 abortion clinic in my state (there are 2) that I escorted a family member into didn't have a lot of protesters (mostly

You are a wonderful person. If I lived in a city with a Planned Parenthood you can bet I would escort people. These protesters make me sick.

Seriously, the scene with Cersei and whatshername was one of the more explicit and extensive sex scenes in the books. I thought it was kind of a big deal. The show hasn't gotten to that part yet, so....perhaps that's where the confusion is?

I was definitely one of those girls who didn't google or search out any information about sex outside of what we learned in school (protip: I didn't know what an orgasm was until I was about 18). So it would probably have been nice to have had someone throw in a definition of orgasms and mention that they're the

Agreed. I can't help it, I hate it when people say that.

I didn't know that, thanks for the info!

No, you're correct that they don't have a bunch of people monitoring. Since attachments are sent through Google's servers, Google has every right to screen the images that pass through the servers (which they do using software I assume), and if they find child porn, they are legally obligated to report it.

Nice. Because of course, anyone who disagrees with this is doing something criminal, I'm sure.

I'm not sure I could even find an email provider that doesn't do that.

Yeah, knowing that it wasn't wrong will really make you feel better when you're imprisoned.

It's illegal to read someone else's email, why should it be ok to read an electronic form of mail? They're the same thing.

What if something you cared about was criminalized, though? Obviously I'm no longer referring to child porn at this point, but to, for example, negative statements about the government, or indications that you were homosexual? Is it ok for your private correspondence to be monitored then as well, so you can be

Erm, I didn't say that, the person I was quoting did. Reading is hard?
