I'm glad I'm not the only one! I try to dress up some on the days I teach lab, but otherwise my attire is decidedly less impressive.
But I also work in agriculture and no one EVER wears heels (also this is in Montana....) So even if I want to look spiffy I feel absurdly out of place.

It might be related to the texture if your hair also. My hair is super fine and light-colored, so stubble is never irritating on my legs. But I would imagine if your hair is thicker it would be painful with tights.

Yup. Sick of the Buzzfeed-Upworthy content.

Thank you! If I wanted to see tacky crap that I don't care about I would read Buzzfeed. But I hate that website, and I don't particularly want to see it on Jezebel.

I'm worried that my boobs willdo that post-babies also. I'm thinking implants will happen in my future.

Wow, you have some seriously unusual standards if you look at that and think hideous. Ouch.

Seriously. There are some seriously self-righteous readers on Jez. A lot of transphobic readers as well, but that's it's own can of worms.

There are some commenters on Jez with done serious issues with fatphobia. It's disappointing.

ANY fish could theoretically hybridize with closely related fish. But they're also unlikely to do so when they're grown in land-based tanks instead of the standard fisheries, which is what these fish were specifically developed for.

I dunno, it sounds like the appeal of this GM fish is that it doesn't have to be grown in areas on the coast (or wherever you grow fish), but in little local environments. I suppose escape is still possible, but it seems highly unlikely in a smaller environment.

You've captured "Essence of Martin" so well. I made funny noises in my nose.

Yeah, definitely not funny.

Because I'm pretty sure she's being abused. Dudes who feel like they possess their girlfriends don't tend to be shy about punishing them for perceived slights.

Yeah. Show of hands for everyone who thinks she's getting abused?

I wouldn't say Ros never appears in the books. I believe she is briefly mentioned as the prostitute that Theon visits, and that Theon (I believe) encourages Jon Snow to visit. But that's pretty much all her character does, and we never see her or interact with her. I do like how she developed as a plot-explanatory

I know, I was hoping it was an entire Matthew Lewis post. With more gifs. And pictures. Ahem...

Is this just fantasy?

Thanks, I'm glad that the point I was trying to make was at least somewhat comprehensible. It's absolutely a messed-up thing to think that suffering street harassment indicates one's desirability (because it doesn't, of course, it's a symptom of mens' feelings of entitlement to womens' bodies), but that is, I think,

You're right, I should know better than to share a particularly fucked up way that the patriarchy has messed with my brain with the Jezebel commentariat.

Um. Hi, Captain not-reading-things-carefully. I don't recall ever making light of street harassment. Of COURSE I realize that street harassment is a serious problem and a serious violation of womens' personal space.
