Nicki Minaj has a huge personality and she's not really one to kiss up to people (from what I can tell, obviously I don't know her). And you can see that in the unretouched photo, but that godawful photoshopped one just makes her look like a generic, personality-free background female.

I feel like they could have pulled it off better if they played it off as a desirable thing. It was kind of tone-deaf the way it was done.

You can make it to the Sanderson parts of WoT! They are SO worth it. He preserves Jordan's voice and his character relationships very faithfully, but Sanderson is just nowhere near as fucking boring. The last 3 books are truly wonderful.

At least the Reds are straightforward.
