I agree to an extent. On behalf of power generating you are correct and I can’t argue against those points. When it comes to efficiency, however, it’s never political. Fuel injection and lithium ion batteries don’t exist because of politics.

Raise the temp on the thermostat a couple of degrees and use a fan to help circulate the cool air. They are much more energy efficient.
