Look up U.S. laws. Minimum speed limit on the interstate and U.S. highway system is 45 mph. The signs posing the speed limit are the MAXIMUM limit, not a simple suggestion of what might be a prudent speed if its convenient and you feel like giving a shit, like most people think.
