I think that there is a legal aspect though - in that our greatest adversary is not tantamount to our greatest enemy. That is why the Russian meeting thing isn’t treason. Though it certainly violates the law, so I hope there is hell to pay for it.

Being in rural NC, I think that may be the issue. I know my trans friend used to get massive shit for her transition. I really expect to see more when I finally get out of this shit state and into a real metropolitan area elsewhere (anywhere but the South basically).
