THIS DAMMIT. I am all for merit. I really am. AA has run its course in many ways... but this sort of shit, which is 100% proven, needs to stop. Sadly, I can’t think of a good way to resolve it - a simple BG check will bring up names, even if they are omitted from an application.

There is zero incentive to remove AA. Why would anyone who benefits from it every want to see it go? That is part of the issue with attempting to balance the scales of past injustices, imo.

Why? This is so damn arbitrary. I would argue the speed to which equality is happening far outpaces the duration of slavery. If it is truly about equality, then it shouldn’t be tit-for-tat.
