When will men learn that dating younger women just makes them look a lot older? I mean if they have tons in common great but if it's to recapture their youth they just look sad.

You know that thing that women do instinctively when presented with stuff like this where we clutch the neckline of our shirt together? I just damn near strangled myself before I realized what I was doing. I'm tempted to never leave my apartment again.

Before people comment I highly recommend reading the long-form article New York Magazine did on this case in 2011. It will answer your questions on why the state could be argued to be culpable, previous incidents that were laughed off as just Travis being a rascal, etc. It is heartbreaking, but very well-written and

Aisha Tyler.

awesome.another show about white people. I cant wait to not watch this

Let me guess: the quirky neighbor/friend.

Years of reading Marvel and DC taught me that "bold and daring" are code words for "we are going to completely fuck everybody over because turning the light at the end of the tunnel into an incoming train takes less skill and effort than crafting a good story."

Now playing

LUV HER. If you haven't yet heard her bit about Taylor Dane from This American Life, stop what you are doing immediately and listen to this:

There are also men who seem to think that oral sex is the only thing that makes a lesbian, well, a lesbian. And if a man does it particularly well, then... uh... lesbians don't care who does it?

I'm fixating a bit here but really..."A total of six officers arrived"

Agreed! And yes, that's what we should *expect* but in a realistic world that frequently disappoints in this regard, it's encouraging nonetheless!

Props to TSA for taking her seriously and not being like 'haha lady whatever' (not that we should expect anything less, but….)

Whenever someone starts their sentence with "I have this great personal anecdote that totally validates my batshit world view which is completely unsupported by any facts of any kind" I kind of tune out

The difference is you never managed to or cared enough to learn her name. Analyse why you think that is? because to me it seems like a lack of basic decency towards the victim of a hideous crime.

The headline on this is a DISGRACE. Her name is Reeva Steenkamp. She was abused & possibly killed by a man, & you can't show her the most basic respect by not defining her solely as his "deceased girlfriend"?
REEVA. STEENKAMP.
Practice it. It's really not that damn hard, & might ever so slightly slow down Jezebel's

MoGlo, you know I love your writing a lot but the title man! I was literally mainpaged today with an article called "How We Talk About Women" and your title is everything that I was complaining about how the media dehumanises women by llabelling them in reference to men. We all know who Reeva Steenkamp was, at least

I was kinda thinking the same thing. Even if it WAS an intruder, what on earth justifies murdering them by shooting them four times through a bathroom door?

If this actually works, I'm so done.

I've been thinking about going back to my school and talking with them about my own experiences and LGBT stuff and everything. I don't know how things are right now there and i imagine i should coordinate with some organization, but i really really really would like to do that. Both for the children who might be going

I've noticed that a lot of the transition success stories in the media focus on people who, after their transition, pass easily and are conventionally attractive.
