an acquaintance of mine just lost her husband in a very violent and awful way. we were all at a friends place recently and his dog would not leave her side. just would not. she's familiar with the dog and it's a really sweet pup but its stayed by her side the entire day.

I love it too. I think its a real sign that not only do they "accept" him; they support it.

A rule of thumb:

I don't mean this in a bad way (AT ALL) but they look so ...normal? Obviously gorgeous and smiley and healthy and happy but there's no hint of class, or wealth or celebrity here. They're just really adorable. (and oh god that girl is going to be criminally adorable)

I so wish that it was something like hiking or while I make quinoa for the week but welp...this is what you get.

I was trying to describe it to a friend- it's not exactly conversational but it's sort of like that person who sort of holds court at a party with hilarious story after hilarious story and it never gets dull.

I had all these breathy "DIDJA KNOW!" moments when I read it too. My partner had to call a cease fire on dinner convo...

Her books are all so so amazing. Also extra credit because she narrates her audiobooks and her comedic timing is really awesome. I listen to them when I'm getting eyelash extensions... it's like science therapy.

i rocked my Dansko sandals so hard last summer. The summer of zero love.

up the thread it appears someone has a doctor who has some miracle speculum warming drawer. I am going to the wrong free health clinic...

I guess I guarding the point since some of my friends were like "...he did what?"

Umm, this may sound weird but I had a doctor who warmed up the speculum for me. And hear me out, I am NOT saying it wasn't uncomfortable but it didn't feel so bad at all. Like, he just stood there chatting with me for a minute or so and holding it.

I've begun my descent into no bra-dom. Its glorious and terrifying.

thank you for this totally wonderful 4 minute interruption to my day.

I have super small feet, am short and have hips to sink the ships- high heels are completely hellish. I have NO idea how to wear them at all without feeling nauseous.

Watching the CBS Sunday morning special on Elizabeth Warren made me wonder about this. I would like to see Hillary in the White House and I would love to see more of Elizabeth Warren in whatever political capacity. She has said she's not running for president— she hasn't said she wouldn't be on a ticket at all.

I'm sort of surprised kids even show up for prom anyways these days. They kinda seem too cool for it, eh?

To be honest, it was sort of a weird episode. It was mainly about a hip hop Dj from Maryland who called her out for "Starships" being super pop (ok, prob true but ..ugh?). Her response was pretty spot on. I thought the DJ came off to sound like a huge blow hard. the episode seemed very cozy with his side of the

did anyone listen to the radiolab that dealt with the DJ who trashed her when "Starships" came out? It made me *love* her. Her response was spot on.

We had HBO for less than 48 hours in my home growing up. We all gathered around to watch an episode of the Sopranos and with in minutes we're all sitting there watching Ritchie eff Janice from behind on a couch with a gun to her head (consensual but not that it really mattered at that point) It was gone by the end of
