God this show just doesn't know what it's doing anymore right?

I've always felt like if Deadwood had had the opportunity at the time to get to its natural end it would be much much more respected than it is now, and rightfully regarded as a TV masterpiece. So if the film can get the show closer to that deserved level of recognition, I'm all for it.
