Yeah, until that last sentence I was thinking this is some bullshit - it seems like no one can advocate for Palestinian rights and against Zionism without being called an anti-semite. But saying the FBI recruits mentally ill young people to join ISIS is cuckoo for cocoa puffs, girl bye, that’s dumb.
I’d never heard of either of these people until today, but this was a well-written piece by Beach - I read it to the end despite it being about 2 people I don’t know doing stuff I’m not interested in. So there’s that, I guess.
In the article’s linked video, she absolutely looks ‘like herself’ (her face prior to the pics that everyone gossiped about b/c she looked SO different), just thinner than people are used to seeing her in BJD.
Love this topic as I’m constantly in search of beers I like that aren’t heavy on the hops flavor. It’s not a bitterness thing, it’s that hops, to me, make beer smell like a moldy basement (I’m sure different strains may not have that character, I’m an amateur). The offending flavor is much harder for me to put my…
Do you think that’s probably down to name recognition, mostly? I’m betting a lot of people come in who feel a little lost as to what to order, but they know they’ve heard of an IPA, less likely to have heard of a saison.
Good to know, thanks!
I wonder if it’d be better to put them in different tins, though (so that the labeling doesn’t give them away as THC products if inspected).
People definitely get away with that but I’m not sure dogs can’t sniff them out - a lot of edibles do have some weed aroma to them. I wonder what happens if, say, a dog or TSA person finds a couple of squares of weed chocolate in your carry-on...do they bother to test it to see if it’s weed chocolate or regular? Is…
What if they find edibles? Like a chocolate bar or gummies. If they’re labeled clearly as THC products, I could see them doing something about it, but what if they’re in nondescript packaging? I assume they don’t test it or whatever? My ex flew with weed chocolate in his carry-on a few times without incident and I…
My ex ‘accidentally’ flew from CA with weed chocolate in his carry-on multiple times.

“The background checks to legally carry a firearm are about 10 times more intensive than the checks to buy a firearm.
I agree with everything you said, am a gun owner, etc. but Crenshaw’s example made me literally laugh. Friends traveling alone need to borrow guns? Lol what? I’ve borrowed a gun, I’ve loaned a gun, but usually for situations like a little fun target practice situation where it’s like ‘Hey let me try that one!’ or ‘Hey…
A .22 is perfect for killing most varmints.
Yikes the carbs (70!), the fat (22g!), and the sodium. But, those are clearly the healthier carbs and fat, and if this is an alternative aimed at people who’d otherwise grab fast food, it’s a definite improvement. That’s a nice amount of protein, too - especially for vegan food. And 0 cholesterol is impressive.
That’s encouraging, I’ve seen lots of pretty pics of Saugatuck online (both the beaches and the town). It’s only a 3 hour drive for us, so we’re really looking forward to checking it our for a weekend later this month :-)
Thanks for the reply! I think b/c we’re only going for the weekend and Sleeping Bear is 2x the drive for us as Saugatuck, we’ll go with the latter this time. But I love Michigan, so a road trip to Sleeping Bear will definitely happen.
Any tips? I was debating between Saugatuck and Sleeping Bear for a couple weeks from now and am looking for a balance between pretty beaches/nature and a cute town.
Came here to say I’m OBSESSED with goat butter, and that’s my second (fancy, snacking) butter. I use whatever salted butter is on sale for cooking/baking. I buy Meyenberg brand either at Meijer or Fresh Thyme and it’s about $6.99 for 8 oz, but SUCH a delicious treat. I keep mine in the fridge, though.
