I work in a parallel setting, and one of my clients have become increasing shitty: coming home late, asking me to “do a few things” that are not in my job description, canceling last minute and most recently, creatively shorting my check.

That’s good. I’ve found that kind considerate employers are hard to find when it comes to the nebulous arena of “domestic work”. It’s so easy to take advantage of nannies and some families just straight up expect nannies to put their own needs and families second.
