I think you’d have to compare the female jack height though. The photos I’ve seen of USB-C with the surround on a phone isn’t much shorter than the headphones jack. But the headphone jacks usually don’t have a surround that’s visible, so likely you’re correct and they’re thicker internally.

Isn’t the 3.5mm jack about the same height as USB-C?

He also didn’t lose, he lost pole in qualifying. He won the race....

“Dailyeals and d flash sales are also gone.”

It’s weird - the Firewatch art has been infringed on a bunch already. To me it seems like a small/medium indie game, and I’m surprised that people are even finding it for big corporate marketing stuff. Weird.

The weight distribution is already 52/48 or so, isn’t it? At least it was in the C6...

Yeah I’ve been using alt-left since Win98 or so, but two or three finger swipes for back are pretty hard to give up once you’re used to them. Then you don’t need to move your hand from the trackpad to the arrows and back again.

Looks great, but does this mean we’ll be able to buy the ugly original for cheap now, like the E65 7-series?

I got an Asus Zenbook a few years ago with an i5 and it’s perfectly adequate for software development (running Visual Studio and embedded IDE debuggers), as well as Chrome and whatnot. No good for games, but that’s not the point of an ultrabook.

Yeah so does the BMW - P on top to put in park, trigger to move the stalk around.

It should work like my wife’s F10 5-series, which has a button on the top with a “P” on it that puts the car in park.

yeah Trucks and Tedeschi are both awesome.

The OP said they were surprised to see the LEDs emitting in the IR. I was doubting that they really were, and that instead the image was sensing visible or near-IR. LEDs are usually very narrow bands, and unless they’re IR LEDs they aren’t going to be above 1 micron. Maybe those signs in the video aren’t LEDs, but I

And if you want to learn logic, then Human Resource Machine was pretty great. Closer to assembly than high level code, but quite enjoyable to finish all the levels!

Just because you can’t see IR doesn’t mean that you can’t see a photo shot in IR. You use a sensor, it captures counts, and you represent that with grayscale. What am I missing?

Tighten the net!!

Why blank?

A 720nm bandpass? Even SWIR doesn’t start until 1 micron. 720 is near IR at best, right?

Not sure if sarcasm, but it’s because this has a lot of a visible spectrum in it. I think it’s just a CCD with the IR filter removed. What photographers call IR isn’t really full IR.

That’s not only the IR spectrum, there’s visible in there as well.
