I really like my Breville Compact Smart Oven (BOV650XL). I’m sure the larger model(s) are nice too, but this one fits on my counter and doesn’t take up too much space, but still holds a few slices of pizza or 4 slices of bread, etc. It’s not perfect but it’s pretty great.

We’ve had press cars up on the slopes and this is actually pretty handy for groups - leave the car in the lot with the keys in it and give the code to your buddy if they finish early.

I think this is a misunderstanding of what Apple does well. They don’t make revolutionary products, they make evolutionary products that work really well. Also, they excel in human interface design - making a product that people don’t live in/interact with/etc. wouldn’t be their norm.

I thought the announcers were pretty awful on ESPN for The Open, but this was hilarious.

Looks like my town of Santa Barbara “won”.... ugh...

Wait, so why did you need to find the iTunes app? This is the Music app...

My wife had a Gran Turismo S once (press car) - white with black wheels and black trim. It looked spectacular, and with the sport exhaust mode they sound terrific. Still a heavy GT car, but I think I’d take one over an XKR.

FLIR and Seek are both in town, and I was talking some guys recently that had used the FLIR SDK to make a green screen app, so all the video is visible and they use the IR to detect the person vs. the background. Pretty cool stuff.

yup, I was going to say exactly the same thing. 4x the pixels, but twice the resolution.

I prefer the flabongo. Seriously, it works surprisingly well.

Yeah, you push it forward and it sticks in high beam, and you can pull to momentarily flash. This is normal, right?

I agree with you, and commented to similar effect. Not really sure what the big deal was. I only watched the first 4 minutes, but nothing looked particularly unsafe. If it wasn’t an open passing session then this guy was totally off the reservation, but I wasn’t there and have no idea what their HPDE rules were...

I watched the first 4 minutes of the video and did not see anything egregious (you didn’t give us a timestamp of any major screw ups). Someone with 2 half days of experience shouldn’t be in an open passing session, but just taking the video at face value I don’t see anything that bad. They’re following close to the

I have no opinion on Beats, but putting weight in a product to make it feel better is not an uncommon thing. I don’t think it’s deceiving either, it’s just part of the design.

I’m curious, what’s backwards on the light stalk compared to other cars? I’ve never noticed anything weird on my Subarus.

with a car charger I hope?

haha yeah, well put

Exactly. Enthusiasts don’t really affect residual values on cars, which is what lease prices are based on.

I got my car washed (can’t wash it at home in So Cal due to restrictions) a couple weeks ago and it rained for the first time in months 3 days later.

really cool video
