I’ve camped on Santa Cruz island - very fun trip. Nice work/

Older planes don’t even have batteries though. But maybe this is for newer planes that use engines with alternators.

I assumed that when the Note 3(?) came out with this feature that it would only be supported by some apps. It looks like Apple’s should work with almost all apps - my guess is it’ll work with any of the apps that handle the adaptive iPhone 6/6+ sizes. If a feature like this only works with a handful of apps then I

I’m asking about the split view mentioned in this article: “And how about that multitasking feature that Apple added to iPads—splitting two apps in a 1/2 or 2/3 ratio? Well, the most popular skin of Android, Samsung’s TouchWiz, has had that as part of its OS for awhile now...”

Does TouchWiz work for all apps, or only Samsung apps or a subset of standard ones?

What warrants the “finally”? HealthKit hasn’t been around THAT long...

I love my apple watch, not sure what everyone here is talking about...

Point taken. I was riding with a friend in the last month who’s cable was fraying and breaking uphill of the clamp point, not at the end. I am sure he hadn’t replaced the cable in years though.

Hydraulic brakes are awesome though. At least in my experience the stopping power seemed way better than my mechanical disc brakes, but that could be a number of other factors...

Maldonado isn’t a prime example of what causes crashes - he routinely crashes for no reason at all.

What’s he changing on the wheel in the straight?

I ride with a spare cable. I’ve been on big group rides where they come in handy. Cables can fray pretty sneakily at the clamp points.

You’ve never had a cable break on you on a ride? Just wait, it’ll happen. Spare cables are easy to carry though.

So it’s a 2x11 with a single shifter? Are they going to make a 1x11 as well? Can you get a smaller battery in that case?

The NASA guys are a great crowd. My friend races his vette in ST2 and I tag along for HPDE days - NASA events are a really fun step up from normal club HPDE days. I highly recommend it...

Not try, he sold it. Not his problem any more...

“And honestly, I like the Time sits on my wrist, too.”

While we’re talking seatbelts, what about the stupid motorized shoulder belts that still required buckling the lap belt?

I thought the Navy Seal dude was supposed to bark orders at them, but he had no more of a clue than anyone else.

well sort of, if they really wanted it to be easy they’d have set the brake.
