"For example, does anyone remember how, in the days before LEDs and institutionalized giving a shit illuminated switches would have these little 12V lights in them that would make the switch hot to the touch and eventually melt the surrounding plastic?"

Autofocusing won't also work well if it's really dark. If you're not too close you can probably manually focus to infinity.

My favorite has always been hot coffee in a can.

Can't upgrade my Zenbook UX31A as far as I know. It's the MBA looking one with a 1080 screen. It's super thin, I'm assuming that stuff is just soldered down and non-upgradable, but that is an assumption.

Agreed. I used Apple Pay on one and it worked just fine, same as any other NFC payment system.

Maybe this is only for one particular issuer?

I helped replace an engine on a friend's - surprisingly easy. I am also generally not a fan of replicas, but the 356 I worked on was quite nice and easy to work on.

I had a stone stuck in my WRX caliper once - awful noise, but it wasn't too hard to diagnose. Still, probably not the fault of the Mazda design - I'd imagine it could happen to anyone.

I like the Cree soft white, good color temp.

I couldn't tell either. The headline saying Willow Springs International was pretty misleading though.
