From the man himself:

Mod support has already been announced, it just won’t be present at launch.

That’s a little reductive, don’t you think?

Honestly, this should’ve been a different IP altogether.

I think you might want to start shopping elsewhere mate. Shouldn’t be paying more than £35-40 for any title on launch.

Haha, precisely! It was just a nitpick tbh, this is still a great article. Looked pretty good for Microsoft though!

I’m finding it kinda odd how “Microsoft delivered” on the works of other publishers, especially multiplatform ones. They didn’t really ‘do’ anything except showcase their (usually multiplatform) games as part of their presentation. Sorry if I sound super sarcy, it was just kinda odd to present it like that (IMO).

I honestly do want to be proved wrong - it would make life more interesting - but I don’t think he’s on that level yet. DBFZ is definitely making him step up his game when it comes to fighters, as he has historically played the ones without a scene in Japan/Korea.

He’s still gonna lose to Goichi, though.

Keeps the hype going I guess!

Haha, alright whatever dude. The website I gave you is the Tekken World Tour standings, an official record of how well players are doing in Pro Tour events. If you want to ignore that, something tells me the problem is on your side.

I gave you the literal tournament standings on the literal Tekken Tour website. How is “YouTube” a substitute for that? There’s no reason to get sassy!

I wouldn’t say so. Tier lists are all opinion, yeah, but in terms of balance pretty much all characters are viable. If you are watching these tournaments Knee has been dominating with different characters on the fly, and both JDCR and Saint have both been knocked out by players playing as different characters too.

Oh no!

Yep, definitely in the top dozen or so pros at this game, she got picked up by Red Bull in January as well. Wouldn’t say she’s on the same level as the EchoFox players in terms of consistency, but this isn’t as big as an upset as the author is making it out to be IMO.

How can you objectively measure success?

Definition of objectivity - something being true independent of personal interpretation and bias. What is good and bad about a game is always subjective.

Sure, and I can see why people would like it, that isn’t a problem.

That would be the icing on the cake, lmao, but I’m pretty sure he said he was moving onto new/other IPs after FFXV. Well.. hopefully
