But what if I want to stance it? You know squatting makes everything better off-road.

“The lender wants you to fail” is a lesson I think everyone needs to hear pretty often.

This is the kind of car that deserves to go back to the manufacturer for restoration. It’s not like a classic 911 where you can occasionally get one cheap and find a skilled mechanic to do the work for a “reasonable” cost (albeit still horrifying to someone not versed in German classics). These things are priceless.

“That’s exactly right Bubba, the Pennzoil pit crew does a fantastic job of keeping the house clean for when me and the missus get home.”

This would be great for showing up all of the “Carolina Poop Squat” Silverado’s I see on a daily basis.

For whatever it’s worth, the touchscreen in the 2016 Charger I rented last year was surprisingly good compared to most car touchscreens I’ve used.

My wife had one briefly as a rental and thought it was a pretty good car by comparison to the Mitsubishi Mirage they’d initially sent her with. All a matter of perspective I suppose...

Neutral: hell yes if I were in the market, I can’t think of anything better than a Golf TDI for my long highway commute.

That is correct. As long as the acceleration changes appropriately, power can be held constant. P = m*v*(dv/dt) where dv/dt is instantaneous acceleration.

I’m a little confused, did you mistype this statement:

What your math shows, 1500 units vs 101500 units, is that it takes significantly more energy to get from 101 mph to 102 mph than it does to get from 1 mph to 2 mph. This statement, and your statement regarding conservation of energy, are both correct. The vehicle requires more energy to accelerate across the same

Thanks, adding this to my idea file for when #1 comes this November. There has to be some practical solution to the issue...

You seem to be confusing power and energy, which is easy to do but a crucial difference. This is a mistake I made for a long time when I was in college for mechanical engineering until the concepts finally clicked.

I’ve never hooned on a golf course, but I did once get a death threat while offroading on what I assumed was public property (looked like a typical dirt road, someone else had stolen the “no trespassing” signs).

I wouldn’t be at all surprised if this car breaks an auction record for 911s. It’s among the most desirable 911s ever made, and with only 6 miles is guaranteed to go to a collector.

I miss that era of Top Gear...

That’s a shockingly accurate depiction. I’ve watched the value of my Focus since I got it (used) and am very glad it’s paid off.

Now that I think about it, this is one of the very few convertibles I don’t think I’ve seen with the top up. This includes the number of them I’ve come across at Porsche events.

You forgot the expensive bottle of self-congratulatory drink passed around after the executives made this decision. Probably accurate otherwise.

No one has more respect for the common worker than Trump does.
