There is an ever so slight chance this game might have something intelligent to say about violence. Maybe an ending in which the protagonist realizes his violence is unsatisfying or maybe a revelation that this is all a fantasy of a person who feels rejected and powerless?

Spec Op: The Line was probably the only game that made me really question the digital violence I was committing. Especially when the loading screens start taunting you with quotes like "Do you feel like a hero now?"
