This sort of thing is always going to be a series of compromises.

Not for nothing, but it’s this willingness to compromise on objectively horrible things that has gotten us to where we are, corruption at an unprecedented scale, increasing income inequality, increasing environmental degradation, never ending wars, concentration camps, a rise in hate crimes etc. etc. etc. today.

I’m not saying this is the case, but it’s my personal head canon that you’re not actually responding to anyone and the whole responding to dismissed comments thing is just a product of a deranged mind. It’s pretty funny.
