well they tried nothing and were all out of ideas...

This place has been written up in the news multiple times — I’d find it hard to believe anything there that costs ~$50+ is a better deal than you’d find on eBay.

Maybe a better headline:

The Starship’s lifting ability could also pave the way for a much better successor. The ISS was built by dozens of space shuttle and Soyuz launches sending up little pieces at a time at extreme costs. At over $100 billion, it is the single most expensive manmade object ever produced.

240 months! I am going to become the Joker.

Kinda makes sense with the range the Air has. And it is much bigger... I was honestly surprised that a department would even consider the 3... it isn’t a big car.

That is one Mean Looking Patrol Car.

I love steelies as much as the next dude but man those are much too big. Barely any tire sidewall. The cops will have bent rims constantly. Would make for miserable highway driving.

I may not be much of a fan of cops in general, but man do I love their liveries. This is particularly tough looking. I’d be scared to see this behind me.

All very well said! The paperclip analogy is perfect.

So, ultimately to save ISS, we need to basically expand it with new parts and throw out the old ones.

It’s not nearly as stupid, but the other night while driving home I witnessed a person go into a paved median with the obvious intent at making a left turn onto a side street (I say obvious not just because it’s the only thing they could possibly have been doing, but also because they were actually using their turn

If I ever find myself considering flying Spirit or Frontier, I’ll drive instead.

I don’t feel so bad about them being forced to be smaller companies with smaller cars.

Great story! Sorry about your balls.

What’s even funnier here is that he seems to have been driving a former LE car, complete with pusher bar and other cop components. To this, he apparently retrofitted the lights. I suspect that proving intent to impersonate isn’t going to be a big challenge here.

Sounds like you faced beans and consequences.

Anode you were being serious...iron gunna argue with yer facts.

Metallurgists call it corrosion resistant steel, not stainless, which was more of a trade name for high chromium steel.

I want to feel sympathy for these people. I want to be a good person and look past our differences, acknowledging that everyone has different tastes and that’s okay. But...
