After all that work, it’s still the second best electric truck in that picture...

This isn’t the first time a police chase has led to disaster

My hope is Trump knows his presidency is a lame duck one and just does the least amount of damage by going golfing all the time.

Congress being GOP means that the has a has clearer path on new laws he’d like to pass; Mitch indicated the filibuster isn’t going anywhere, but he’s not going to be Senate Majority leader, so who the fuck knows what happens.

You gotta be relevant first to become irrelevant. And those pieces of shit Elio’s been trying to shovel are vaporware, from the rip.

I grew up in a prime, red, deeply conservative state in a deeply rural part of it. To this day most of those who live there are 100% all-in on trump. Those same people wound up doing either the bare minimum or very little with their lives with many still living in the same falling apart houses they lived in when I

now realize that they’re going to own the blame for whatever harm they do

I have to say I’m more disappointed than shocked. I couldn’t even watch the results last night as I thought there was a good chance this was coming. My only hope is that enough of the MAGA politicians now realize that they’re going to own the blame for whatever harm they do and show some little bit of common sense and

Trump rarely knows what the fuck he’s talking about, never mind actually understanding the ramifications of what he’s saying. I’d say it’s a toss up for Elon. He has enough money to (personally) weather most things, the actual health of his companies be damned, but there’s no guarantee Trump will be a boon for him.

1. I have cleaned our old family owned mitsubishi with what turned out to be an aggressive oven cleaner.

Despite many, many, many warnings from my dad, I ran out of gas in my first car, an Oldsmobile Cutlass Brougham diesel engine.  Never did get it to run right after that, eventually donated it to one of those Cars for Kidney charities.

Elon also said his cars do just fine at combusting into non-extinguishable blazes on their own.

Finally, DHL’s practice of chronic shipping delays pays off!

I would have preferred a slideshow.

I’m not willing to rule out a liquid-filled tire yet. F1 still has a *minimum* car weight, so there’s definitely wiggle room for heavier tire filling. One could even potentially rig up some sort of H20 reservoir/radiator setup to cycle water in and out of the tire to maintain optimal temperature AND improve brake

My Costco specifically has the long hoses that can reach either side. Mine is on the driver’s side but 98% of the time I end up on the opposite pump pulling the hose across.

Why not both sides?

As someone that daily drives a right side fueling vehicle, you shut your mouth sir!!  The lines are always shorter at costco for a right fill vehicle and this does NOT need to be “fixed”.  80% of cars should be driver’s side fill up and gas pump hoses should be exactly one foot too short to cross over.  The other

I agree, and this should be mandatory:

I think they’re simply trying to keep the tire from getting to 275 F in the first place. In theory on the way up to temp, this would also reduce pressure change because you’re heating the air up less. The friction/cornering centripetal acceleration/braking puts X energy into the tire, if it takes more energy to heat
