So far, they’ve studied how zebra fish adapt to microgravity...

I think Temu sells these now

We’ve been overtaken in the space race by both Russia and China. That is fucking depressing. We gotta start funding NASA properly, and stop relying on the “free market” and billionaires to make up the difference.

So, Rolex prices are crashing right now and they’re down like 20-50% from its peak from the bubble covid era.

So... China has a more modern space station in place now that the ISS is projected to be deorbited in 2030 with no replacement planned.

My only reaction is to point and laugh.

I have zero fucks to give.

yeah people are paying 150k+ for 10 year old 911s on bring a trailer daily there is clearly a hole in the market for expensive new cars that auto manufacturers are not listening to!

Why? so it’ll just be held up in court for 7 years even after the hearing? So Musk loses the lawsuit, what is a couple mil, even 100 million to a net worth of 275 Billion? It’s already been done, so any decisions afterwards is to prevent this from happening again in the future...Actually, probably not even because

Doesn’t even matter. It was a stunt that gained a few additional days of free media blitz for Trump and Musk.

I believe Boeing checks both the ‘super desperate’ and ‘hopeless’ boxes. After the Starliner fiasco, how long would it take to get Boeing back in the good graces of NASA? And now roll that in with all the other fiascos going on.

They are either super desperate, or super stupid. You don’t retreat from major matured markets like this if you have any hope or any sense, because once you’ve got out of them you’ll never get back in.

Some things just WORK. Newer is not always better, though externalities often force newer. Like your programmers dying off. :-)

I take some issue with your position as a member of the LGBTQ community.

NONE! No car! Don’t do this. I’m sick of following you, going 15 mph under the limit and drifting back and forth over the double yellow as you point out varieties of dead leaves. They’re freakin’ leaves. They do this every year. Just look out the window of your house if you need to see a yellow leaf that badly.

Seems to be a lot of corporations shooting themselves in the foot these days (I’m looking at you, Washington Post). Ford really blew it for me — I’m enjoying my first Ford ever — a 2022 Maverick — and giving them a pass on the long list of little recalls. It’s clear that Ford builds a better, more thought-out truck

Interesting that my local VW dealerhip is offering to pay me $30K trade in for my 2019 Golf R. I would take them up on it...if they had any damn thing I wanted to buy. I’ve been a VW fan for a while (yeah, go ahead and boo and throw garbage at me, I don’t care), but I think their “crazy offer!” speaks to the fact that

Elon’s predictions have always been wildly optimistic, whether for Tesla or SpaceX. And he’s had some real disasters as well, including the Cybertruck and Full-Self Driving.

Third Gear: Musk’s business “strategy” for Tesla has always been hyping the next thing to cover up for the broken promises and spotty performance of the last thing.
