They don’t even have to convert RHD cars to LHD. Ford still sells Fiestas in Europe, which are already LHD.

The Fiesta was still selling about 20k units a year in the US right up to the end, but that wasn’t good enough for Ford. Room needed to be made for their high margin crossovers (The Ecosport was a Fiesta on stilts and sold at a higher price). We all knew Ford would regret it later, and here they are, regretting it

No they really didn’t. If you don’t sell at least 100k unit a year, it’s really hard to justify building it, unless you also have massive parts commonality with another vehicle (which is the only reason Lincoln still survives).

Yup, number one turn off for me is Musk. Close second is the cars are inherently dangerous and I will never ever buy any car that replaces basic controls that should be used intuitively and without needing to divert eyes off the road with a touchscreen control

I also dont want to have to raid a junkyard to replace components that Tesla wont sell me.

Might have been their rivals Duh, Doy & Derp.

investors are getting worried that big boss Elon Musk is distracted”

14th overall in sales for ‘23. Now, if you use market cap, they are the largest by A LOT, which is just insane since they are 2x the market cap of Toyota who sells about 5x the cars a year.

I would argue that the 14th largest automaker in the world is NOT one of the largest in the world. Maybe if you go by market cap, but not in sales.

Model3s have been around long enough that they are cheap on the used market.

More bad news about Tesla... get ready for the stock price to spike up again!

The catch is “must take delivery from dealer stock.” Being an S with probably no options my guess is like all lease special cars they probably got maaaaybe 3 of them? And the rest are higher trims, and even though they technically could do the same deal structure and get it to like $99/month plus acq and handling fee

You can NOT lease a Leaf for $19/month.

What polling firm did the NYT hire to help them with this? No, Shit, & Sherlock?

Flash! This just in!

“...Tesla is still one of the largest automakers in the world...”

This has to do with the article itself and the words contained within it. What are you referring to?

What’s that have to do with this vehicle which no regular person can acquire because scammers/re-leasers got them all?

Agreed 100% with your take on people arguing in bad faith that EVs are too expensive and regular people can’t afford them. There have been viable EVs priced below the average car for quite a while now, but that doesn’t matter anyways because working-class “normal” Americans are the most financially illiterate people

The catch is they don’t have any
