I think there will be an investigation, but it will be completely ignored and steamrolled through an agenda that will be pushed through months before the report showing what happened is complete.

I grew up a biking distance from DCA. Maybe 4-5 miles away. At the time, DCA was ancient and really looked like it was built before WW2 (I think it was).

Oh for the love of all that is holy, I wish someone would isolate this clown from any form of communication for at least a month after any event.

Technical issue is solved or soon will be. The issue is practical. If there was a 500kW charger at every corner, just like there is a gas pump, then you don’t need 500 mile ranges, 300 mile ranges like most ICE vehicles would be fine. But all those chargers aren’t there.

I took a tour of the HMS Victory back when. Completely different way of life.

Actually the opposite. When you are sailing, the wind and/or current is generally behind you. So, that work was performed at the front of the ship, aka, the Head, which is still the naval term for bathroom.

I would go with the Odyssey. Cheaper and still has a good V6 that makes good V6 noises. Uses more gas than the Toyota, but VTEC Yoo! and a lot less ugly.

First Gear:

Why tho?   If cars last longer and are easy and cheap to fix when they do break, then we won’t have to replace them often.

I saw a game show yesterday. One of the contestants had a face that was 3 shades darker than the rest of her. She was had really dark skin to begin with and it looked like she had been looking into a coal shaft when there was an explosion.

Because of the influence of American and English Music on mid 20th century and later songs, the sounds of English in music is also super popular.

To me, there are two big things that make songs stick in someone’s head for dang near forever. First are major life events in high school.

Inside the Lower 48? Montana in the Summer.

A big thing that has changed is European crash standards. In Europe, cars are tested against pedestrian dummies to see how safe the pedestrian would be in an impact. The solution is to have a hood with a crumple zone on top that helps reduce the damage to a person when they fall on it after being hit. A hood scope

Everyone that talks about how great music was back in the day, didn’t live back then. Like I grew up 70s and for every group like the Eagles, there were 10 groups like Captain Tenile, John Denver, Etc. which put crap on the radio by the bucket load.

If he had been head of Nissan, it would have been a LOT smaller box to get him out of the country.

For me, if I was forced to replace my current old Camry with something, I would shop a used Model 3 Long Range. I can’t find anything under the $25k cut off for the $4k tax incentive that would meet my needs like one. And I can’t find a $21k ICE vehicle that would be as nice, inexpensive to operate and have as low a

I can’t force myself to buy Chick-Fil-A.   Admittedly, that is because I tried it once before they got all political and full of crap and hated every bite.. but still.

Most of the companies that have stock explosions with extreme P/E ratios are cults. Apple is/was a cult, Microsoft is/was a cult, Amazon is/was a cult and Tesla is the most cult-like of all of them.

A big change I’ve seen in my career is a complete lack of caring about profits. It’s all about growth.
