I wouldn’t expect a lot from a $9k car these days. I haven’t been on the market for a bit, but it seems like the Southeast is still running just post Covid pricing, especially on vehicles with good reputations like Toyotas.

I’m guessing they did it that way because they knew the plane would go boom, but they didn’t know why. Didn’t read how they tested, only that the square windows were the biggest problems.
Have you seen the price of 7 year old Bolts with this issue?
It tastes so good going in. And you regret it so much 30 minutes later.
Not the ones by the giant gas supply lines at work. Dumbass utilities just put a sack of cement down the hole and on a rainy day a fat guy can push one over by falling down a hill and trying to grab one to regain balance. Not that I would know that particular fat man if anyone should ask.
You do this for leakage testing. You don’t go to high pressures, just enough pressure to see bubbles start to come. Maybe 1-2 psi over the pressure caused by the water. The bubbles will show where the leaks are.
The Volt has a pretty low Center of gravity. If it wasn’t going fast, I would expect it to maybe go up on its side or two wheels from the impact. But given that it barrel rolls tells me it’s hauling ass.
I mean the Volt. A Bollard would have crushed the rear roof on that car. They don’t design the roofs for pole impacts and there aren’t airbags up there in the headliner.
Agenda? Yes
I have no interest in paying attention to what they say. However, what little I see has nothing to do with actually getting stuff done. It’s all ideas and concepts and the like. I don’t see any REAL focus on doing what they want to do.
For pressure vessels you test with water, not a gas. However, for planes, you would be use a gas, just because the weight of all that water would overload the plane. A 737 could hold nearly a million lbs of water. Well, not really. It would break long before you got it full.
Speeding? Indicating a turn then speeding up and going straight? General asshattery? Driving under the influence of something that isn’t listed in what can ding an DUI?
Speed is the only thing that makes sense. If the speed limit was say 35 and the Volt was going 70, then the Pilot driver might not have had the time to see the oncoming Volt in time.
Yeah, and if it was a bollard, it would have killed the driver of the SUV.
Growing up, the church we went to had that symbol. There was a big hall underground that had a kitchen and was used for social events. However, in the case of an attack, this could hold a couple hundred people and had rations and the like stored in a large pantry for them. The doors were thicker and had seals and it…
The Republican party has gone to the Soundbite party. Ideas that can be summed up in one word or less.
Maybe.
It won’t last 5 miles down the road for me. Here’s why:
Yep. The Republican Party has the mentality of losers.
It’s doing what computers always do. Take an Input, do a lot of math, make an output.
