The transmission did act up and stick in low gear.  Had it towed to a shop and they told me horror stories.  But ended up being a bad sensor and it was running great for $200 or so.  I figured I had dodge a bullet. Then a week later, it didn’t want to start.  Send to the shop and the engine was roached.

We did have a transmission sensor go bad about a week before the engine died.   $200 and it shifted great. I thought I had dodged a bullet...

Worse Cruise ever.

Easy. I would get a Mercedes. Specifically this one.

You will lose a lot of brain cells. In a good way.

My dad’s experience. He got a 2 year old 78 Malibu back in the day. 20k miles, complete records of oil changes every 3 months, so less than 3k miles

FIFY.

Top Secret!

Hey, we’ve found a second predatory creature with headlights!

Wait, where are all the Mustangs?

Same. I am sort of looking to replace my ancient Sienna and I can’t really look at the new ones because of that issue.

My nearly 20 year old Sienna has rear climate controls over the door on the rear driver’s side. We never have used them because the kids couldn’t reach it or weren’t responsible with it.

Yeah, Over the years, we’ve gotten better at recognizing when dogs are “on alert”. Two funny ones were that we boarded a pair of big white dogs regularly for a while (parents had a daughter in college and they went most weekends to watch her cheer).

Shoot, we board dogs all the time. Only not in the way you think. We have three extra today.

Maybe too many competitors in the market?

Yeah, we actually mentioned this. But the car that catches my wife’s eye every time is a Mustang GT Convertible until she sees it has less than optimal number of pedals in everyone she sees.

First gear...

My wife says she would love a convertible one day. But she can’t seem to go anywhere without a dog. My prediction for each of our dogs.

Yes there are excursion trains. But if you need to travel in the US, you pretty much have to drive or fly, because Amtrak.

The weirdest thing I’ve ever put in a car is me. Although my kids give me a run for my money.
