I saw my first CT in the wild over the weekend. It is impressively large. It seems to be as big as a F250 extended cab with an 8 foot bed. It did stand out in the crowd of cars and drew the eye to notice it.

Aluminum rivets won’t last either. Aluminium rusts super fast. It just forms a candy coating of Aluminium Oxide that protects it within minutes.
Penny Arcade Nailed it today.
I still can’t believe that DCA is a thing and even a hub now. It’s a small cramped airport.
I have better luck looking at speciality shops. I go to a Toyota/ Honda specialist that has been doing nothing but Toyotas and Hondas for 30+ years. Great reputation, high reviews. They are a bit more expensive than other shops, but they don’t fix things that don’t need fixing and their fixes work and last. It’s worth…
No it wasn’t a plant in Texas. We were doing work for a plant in the Mid-west and good luck explaining “we can’t get to work today because it snowed” to plant that can and does get 12" in a night and still has people show up to work on time.
Yeah, I’ve decided to go with all-seasons, save money by avoiding the shorter lasting and more expensive 3 peak rated tires and put that money towards a set of chains.
I just bought tires. I really thought about some good rated all-season + snows. But they don’t last as long and cost $150 more a set. I thought that there was good chance that I will end up having them worn out before I need the extra snow capability and went with generic all seasons (well rated in the rain) and…
My evil side would say “Not yet, but I’m working on it.”
All seasons work fine in snow, but not in ice. My last experience was FWD in 3" of frozen together sleet. It was like a hockey rink before the ice was groomed. You could find some traction with all seasons in a few places, but it was really a struggle.
How is this list not just the list of the Toyota Lineup?
I would be interested as well. I live in the South and we almost never get snow. And this changes the equation.
There’s no reason to spend a lot of money styling the rear of a Camry. It will be re-styled by the owners in the parking lot during a test drive.
Better than the last gen. Although I guess it did start to grow on me.
A couple things about me as a Camry Owner.
The issue isn’t the chargers.. it’s the grid. Take a small town in the middle of nowhere. Say 100 houses. A typical house needs 10-15kW to power, but let’s say they are 20kW draws. That’s 2000 kW.
I think most of the kids born today will think that the stories of their parents showing up to find a pump wasn’t working or that a gas station was shutdown or the like are made up, because even if they are using gasoline or diesel for something they can do all the connections before you pull off the highway for a…
I think you missed the point of my rant. 10 years from now, there is always better. But we forget the good.
I agree it will be decades. But I think it will happen eventually.
My issue is that when I get gas, I get gas.. for more than my car. There’s always roller dogs, tornados, and the like.
