Absolutely. We don’t educate properly in America. The Gifted and Talented get great education with STEM focus and the like. The rest... forget about it.

Neutral. My town didn’t have a full eclipse, but we were in a town that did in 2017. 2017 was really cool and we didn’t have a cloud in the sky. Monday was cloudy as hell and it just got to be like dusk for a while. Sometimes you could see a Cheshire cat grin shape through the clouds, but it wasn’t nearly as cool as…
But it’s RIGHT THERE. And if you said, “it broke down and stopped working” people would believe you, even if the company had video of exactly what happened. Just because bricked AV cars are the norm.
That picture is an airport. But I’ve been to Germany. Last time I went, the crossing guards for the school in a small town had submachine guns. I’ve spent months in Germany and about every other German cop has a submachine gun.
I have never heard anyone regret owning an Alfa. Regret getting a bad example and not doing their research, yes, but they never regret having the car, even if it never got unhooked from the tow truck. Everyone of them say they would do it again, now that they have wisdom, experience, and money.
Wait, they tried to tow an occupied car, while a driverless car was right next to them?
So, it’s in good shape, but just under the water? Anyone know where I can get a 39 Packard for daily driving?
I currently drive a 5 speed. I understand why it died.
Especially since even getting a single shot break open shotgun is a major effort there, so you are likely armed with a switchblade at best.
What I am saying is this.
True, you can’t 100% be sure a cop isn’t going to shoot you for no reason when you obey all the commands. And that HAS to change.
Yeah, I was in London. The cops and I guess armed forces in the train stations and the like were not like the happy go lucky cop from TV. When I got out of London, I saw the guys like on TV. But none of them, even the giant Sikh had that feeling that they were about to throw lead at the drop of a hat like you find…
This was about 30 years ago. I don’t know about now. All I know is that you don’t have weekly stories about police shooting up a car with 100 rounds like we do in the US and that the Brits do have armed police for certain situations.
Finally someone noticed that term. I agree. Whatever the sub-sets are, there are clearly Asshole-Burgers. Exhibit A is Musk.
Yeah, Been there. A couple times. I saw nobody with weapons.. other than the cops. And they were armed to the teeth. I would think “pistol beats knife”, but I guess “submachine beats knife:” as well.
There’s an educational side too.
I’d google search for Cop shoots unarmed man, but I don’t want to flood my cache with hits. It’s not the guns, it’s the trigger finger and more importantly, the brain behind the finger.
That’s above average for a cop.
We’ve dealt with this for our entire history. Irish, Scots-Irish, French, French Huguenot, German, Polish, etc. etc. etc. There is always a mix of cultures in America and many of them hate each other and things work out.
I don’t think it’s a gun problem, but a training and support problem.
