Went to see my doctor yesterday. She had 189 reasons not to get involved in cake.

I will give them something, they aren’t asking for an insane amount of capacity. I know people that swear they need 10k of towing capacity to tow a utility trailer with a lawn mower on it.

Absolutely.

I would consider a lightly used Camry Hybrid because my back sucks and the Camry rides better, but we are on the same page.

Used PHEVs in America.

I’m going to have two.

LS motors can easily crack 20 mpg. Corvettes push 30+.

I thought of that, but then I think of everyone I’ve ever known about that got into car break-ins or theft.

Yes, I would like self-driving on the highway if I was legally not responsible and knew the system was safe.

As a note, in Canada, having a stick in a car is a great way to keep it from being stolen.

Yeap.  It’s not easy.  That had to be a very high amount of radiation dose rate to go through the car body quick enough to read in the millisecond time frame.

After being hit with enough radiation to go through a car, they might be.

Look at a parallel. My mom had an Altima for years. She’s still sharp as a tack at 97. She graduated first in her class and had the highest test scores in the high school exams for the state. She drove Altimas for several years.

You don’t have to have an AV car to find problems. I had a couple rental cars with lane centering.

Or to think of it a different way. To run a truck 24/7 on the interstate takes two drivers. $200k. Which means a $600k option package for AV5 on the interstate pays for itself in 3 years.

If I have to prove my accountants are qualified and sane, the deal is off.

What happened to Jalopnik?

Look if Fisker needs accountants, I can name a lot of companies that I’ve worked for that have extra.

I think the future of driving is self-driving. But not for cars.
