They have Attack on Titan subbed. I know this because I burned through it over the weekend and have no regrets (I know it's a divisive anime but man it's extremely watchable).

Oof, yeah. Aside from season 1, I'm generally not a fan of the show's finales.

Yeah seriously, everybody watch My Mad Fat Diary. It's so good! I'm probably not the first to make the comparison but it kind of reminds me of a British My So-Called Life.

*sulks because "Field Trip" isn't the overwhelming favorite*

Exactly!

Seconding the "Padre" nomination.

This one's ineligible because the show isn't available in America, but I just caught up on My Mad Fat Diary and "Not I" is an incredibly powerful piece of television.

Parenthood - "The Pontiac" because Haddie came back (it was a pretty incredible episode too, I guess)

"So Many Birthdays" is also a good Steven Universe choice.

This is weird because I don't even like the show much and I'm choosing what is probably the most divisive episode, but The Walking Dead's "The Grove" is one of my favorite episodes of television this year.

That episode is good, but "Maud Pie" is the funniest episode the show has ever done.

I was just about to say "any episode of Mushishi," but yeah that one's probably the best.

And I counter-nominate "G.I. Jeff"!

Oh yeah, that's fine. He's too handsome and well-dressed!

You're right, that's a fair point.

This list was Bob Ducca-esque. "Chronic cretinism" is just a magical phrase.

Man, all of the Sonia hate that's been building on this site lately is really bumming me out.

Good call on Harry Potter scene. It's my favorite scene in the entire film series, and something I always bring up when people call for completely faithful adaptations.

Oooh, my favorite answers were by Brandon and Caroline too! You're alright in my book, Martha Jones.

The part about leaving the guy a note was adorable. I'm already writing a rom-com screenplay based on it.
