WEEKLY HADDIE BRAVERMAN/SARAH RAMOS THREAD

*whispers* True Detective was one of my least favorite shows in the entire tournament…

I'm 4 days late but I can't resist a chance to join in with some Holly J praise. People have alot of affection for the season 1-5 characters, but Holly J might be my favorite in the entire series (it doesn't hurt that Charlotte Arnold was probably the show's best actor too). After she left, I tried to watch a bit

Earlier in the season, in one of Drew's storylines, there was a mention of a fraternity called Pi Kap (short for Pi Kappa) or something like that. Todd heard "Piecat" instead and thus a running joke began.

Aw man, what a bummer. I tend to try to avert my eyes whenever I see a commercial for a show I like, because you can never trust networks.

I've learned that she's a generally strange and hilarious person.

When I saw that Forrest's father-in-law forgot to do his seatbelt, I thought "there's no way they're really going to go there" and then they did. What a hilariously dark moment. This show is reaching Nathan For You levels of genius. Everybody who isn't watching Review: watch Review so there can be more reasons for

I recently rewatched season 1 and some of season 2 on Netflix and I'm pretty sure — not 100% sure, but pretty sure — that they had the correct music.

That really annoyed me. I kept looking away from the screen thinking "oh this is a scene from Captain America, so I don't want to see it yet" and then looking back thinking "maybe it's a tag that leads into Captain America and I don't want to miss it."

I just read 1400+ comments and not a single mention of My So-Called Life.

You take that back!

With the exception of "Dead Weight" and "Too Far Gone," which I hated (EDIT: I wasn't so hot on "Still" or "Us" either), I think this season has been excellent. And I never thought I'd say that, because I mostly watched the first 3 seasons in a state of mild annoyance.

WEEKLY HADDIE BRAVERMAN/SARAH RAMOS THREAD

I may be running the risk of exposing myself as an idiot to the entire internet but…does anybody else sometimes have trouble understanding the plot on this show? I generally consider myself a savvy TV watcher, but there are times where I just think, "wait, the FBI is looking for who now? And how does that tie in to

Has anybody been keeping up with Mind Games? It got pretty harsh reviews (aside from Todd's grade), but I think it's quite a fun and zippy show.

Also, not to complain about the lack of notifications, but it's so hard to remember to read them when you don't get a notification about a review being posted.

A thousand times yes. Her TV Club 10 on it is still the high point of that feature.

There's a set time for the reviews being posted (for example, I think the Mad Men season 1 reviews went up at 1 PM on…Wednesdays maybe?) and it's every episode of the season, though some shows do two or three episodes per review.

Or somebody else, if she's too busy. I just finished the show for the first time and was sort of skimming the reviews and comments, but I desperately want to talk about the Our Town scene at the end of "Betrayal," or the 100% pure delightfulness of "Weekend." Make it happen, TV Club Classic Gods!
