There was a Nacho Picasso release this year?! I've got to get on that.

If they don't devote one of their end of the year articles to it, I'll be very let down.

Aw shucks, I didn't even know I was important enough to have my picks from last year remembered. I've got to give some of the stuff you listed a listen because I've only listened to bits and pieces of the Volcano Choir and Phosporescent albums and liked what I heard, but was too busy to listen to them enough.

Yeah, I love the new Swearin' album but I feel like they get overshadowed by the fact that most people would choose Waxahatchee in The Battle of the Crutchfield Sisters.

Hey now, Acid Rap is incredible.

1. Camera Obscura - Desire Lines
2. Chance the Rapper - Acid Rap
3. Killer Mike & El-P - Run the Jewels
4. Waxahatchee - Cerulean Salt
5. Ariana Grande - Yours Truly
6. Frightened Rabbit - Pedestrian Verse
7. Los Campesinos! - No Blues
8. AlunaGeorge - Body Music
9. Local Natives - Hummingbird
10. Vampire Weekend - Modern

I'm not surprised that there's no Call Chelsea Peretti love on any of the writers' lists, but I'm very surprised that nobody's complaining about the lack of Call Chelsea Peretti love on any of the writers' lists.

Fellow Get Up On This fans unite! I mentioned it somewhere upthread.

A Smodco show that gets the least love but is seriously one of the best podcasts is Get Up on This. It's probably the podcast on the network that's the least associated with Kevin Smith's sphere, so if anybody hates Kevin Smith or his crew, they can still enjoy. Listen to either of the episodes with Meg Myers and

Yeah I stopped listening for a while because it requires so much attention when I usually listen to podcasts while doing something else, but I've recently gotten back into it and love it so much.

It's especially strange since apparently some of those dudes write for Comedy Bang! Bang!, a show that has some pretty incredible bits and sketches.

My favorite new show (and the show that is currently holding my #1 spot for 2013 overall) won't get awarded Best New Show because it's already in the article today. Nathan For You 4ever.

When the IED went off, I was more upset about the prospect of Bearded Guy From Texas being hurt than I was about Brody.

Incomplete ending or not, season 3 is my favorite season of the show. There, I said it!

Now I feel dumb for leaving it off of my list! Wengert was incredible in that ep.

I have a terrible memory and only listen to episodes once, so I probably forgot some that I loved:

I think it was the fact that it was named Sal's Pizza and it burned down just like in Do The Right Thing. I'm not saying that the writers meant to do it as a specific reference, but I don't think it's bizarre to believe that it was intentional either.

I (mostly) love The Dissolve's design. This, on the other hand…

Close enough.

Jabbar probably wouldn't be the only boy in his ballet class. I've seen Bunheads — get your details right, Jason Katims!
