The only reason that a CEO has their position is because the board has been convinced that they will generate the most profits... not that they will be ‘responsible’ or ‘accountable’.  In fact, most of their contracts specifically reward them for failing bad enough to have to leave.

I agree with this, but also... 2007 was 14 years ago. If someone has shown some sort of personal growth, will we hold them accountable for old statements forever? What does “personal growth” even mean when it comes to professional relationships and employment?

I played the beta on the PS4 when it first came out, and it never clicked with me. I’m glad you’re having fun with it, but if I came out of a coma and all anyone wanted to talk about was Fortnite, I think I would have rolled myself out of the window.
