Gender and ethnicity, and depending on what other things they may ask, are not exactly personal private information that can reveal a person’s name to the world unless you start matching it up with A LOT of other pieces of information that are a lot more exact in nature.

Presumably all of these workers have access to files, information, sourcecodes, documents that management would prefer not be leaked to the public. Why would management want to give them motive to release them as a form of corporate sabotage? It’s in management’s best interests to work to make their worker’s lives
