Yeah that price structure is pretty cruel. Good on you for buying your bro the game though! (I might be doing the same for my nephew if he can his damn grades up.)

The Black Armory grind burned me out, especially as I didn’t hit 600 before it released. I might come back for a bit for this, though. But...Anthem’s currently my grindy game, and Division 2 is coming soon. If it’s obviously clear that Division 2 learned from the myriad of mistakes in the first game, I might make that

That is some Mad Max sh*t right there. In the best way.

Stupid sexy Interceptor.

Chonky GameBoy still works, I bet. I haven’t seen mine in decades, but I’m guessing it just needs a few AAs to get back up, lol

Playing FFIII (or 6?) on Super Nintendo at my best friend’s house; we were probably 9 or 10. We were fighting the Ghost Train, and having a lot of trouble with it. Then I was like, “hey if this train is undead, what happens if we throw a phoenix down at it?” We did and it insta-killed the train. That memory really

Exactly. The references to the biggest pack ever seen, bold enough to attack men, being led by a HUGE wolf occur so much throughout the books.

HAH.

I think the best part of Apex is that you can just jump in, the games aren’t too long, and it just feels good to play.

Same here. After about the 7th cycle of the curse, I was like “why...am I still doing this.”

Wow, an older gamer that actually liked the movement mechanics in Titanfall 2? You sir, are rare company.

Actually...you might be on to something. My parents are super straight-edge, no drinking or smoking, etc., to the point where I can drink my Dad under the table without meaning to. Their parents (who had to live through/fight in WWII in the Philippines: I will never get judgy with a soldier who dealt with trauma with

Oh man, Erebuni. Always had those ads in the middle of Import Tuner.

I was paying extra attention to my actions last night, and every time I tried to pull back to heal or re-position, I was downed. I’m also thinking I should just always take a peacekeeper with me—someone will always push and come into range.

Lifeline main here. I’m sure some supply drop etiquette will start emerging. IMO, whoever called it should get first pick, or at least open it and mark things they don’t want. Doesn’t feel too good when teammates just rush and grab all the good stuff (especially when they already have better stuff than I do).

You might have to be more aggressive. I’ve found that push-push-push is more effective than engaging, withdrawing, and maneuvering for position.

Good on you, man. What I don’t understand is, when did saying “I do not agree with Zionism or the occupation of the West Bank” make you anti-Semitic? I always thought it was a point of discussion, maybe slightly polarizing. But now, ugh.

Yeah, but when assumptions about whether or not you “belong” in the country or are “legal” are made, it could end very badly if you don’t handle it carefully. ICE detained an American Citizen for 1,200+ days, a legitimate citizen who had a passport and birth certificate and everything.

Monthly FIVE HOUR MEETINGS for updating a 20+ page document. This project’s costs in hourly salary alone should be enough of a red flag, and the fact that this is apparently widely acceptable at my company is even more troubling.

(and FUN, btw
