I did gymnastics for 12 years; the vault was probably my best event. Now that was *cough* many years ago and I was never even in the league of consideration for ANY competetitve team. I just loved it.

Kiddo is the moniker we ALL decided on for use on any social media platform. I don’t post photos of them - even when they were toddlers - without their permission. They have a right to know their name or identity is used.
One of my adult children finished a BS in Economics with a minor in International Relarions in 3 years at a prominent (not Ivy League). Scholarships payed for 90% of it. They worked for AmeriCorp and now Peace Corp. They’re going to grad school on scholarship.
One absolutely is voting, the other thinks it’s a waste of effort. Both are college educated.
I’ve sent them a list of the ballot initiatives too & how to decipher the language of each.
I use gender neutral pronouns and “kiddos” so that I don’t reveal any information on who they are, where they live, how to contact them, etc. they are adults; calling them my kiddos eliminates the need for identifying information.
