It can take MONTHS to get the right type & dosage of meds for someone with bipolar and if that person is an adult and they are unwilling to stick to a regimen, there’s very little that can be done.

He’s an adult and it’s really really hard to get an adult involuntarily committed so they can stabilize. I’m NOT defending Kim, I’m not a KUWTK fan, I don’t pay much attention to her but from personal experience: getting help for someone with a mental illness who is above the age of 18 is damn near impossible.

I mean this with all sincerity, as someone who grew up around multiple family members with mental illness - mostly bipolar - then raised a child with the same condition: someone needs to intervene with Kanye. I’m always heartened to see the youngest among us taking charge, organizing, protesting (don’t even bother to @ me, peaceful protests are a right guaranteed to ALL Americans; it’s in the very first amendment in the bill of rights). Kudos to these young adults taking action.

I highly recommend the documentary Anita. I believe it’s on Hulu or Netflix but I frequently lie when I’m confused. It’s worth paying for it on iTunes or your preferred service.
