Unfortunately, I believe you’re completely correct. No words can counteract the inherent bias that most officers have.

I didn’t, that was totally my observation. I’m very sorry it was so poorly written and implies you had said it.
It can take MONTHS to get the right type & dosage of meds for someone with bipolar and if that person is an adult and they are unwilling to stick to a regimen, there’s very little that can be done.
Didn’t see your response before I posted but yes yes yes!! Everything you said has been my experience too. I don’t think there’s legally much Kim can do.
He’s an adult and it’s really really hard to get an adult involuntarily committed so they can stabilize. I’m NOT defending Kim, I’m not a KUWTK fan, I don’t pay much attention to her but from personal experience: getting help for someone with a mental illness who is above the age of 18 is damn near impossible.
I mean this with all sincerity, as someone who grew up around multiple family members with mental illness - mostly bipolar - then raised a child with the same condition: someone needs to intervene with Kanye. He’s so talented, he deserves a chance to get out from under whatever his diagnosis is. And yeah, I’m saying…
I’m always heartened to see the youngest among us taking charge, organizing, protesting (don’t even bother to @ me, peaceful protests are a right guaranteed to ALL Americans; it’s in the very first amendment in the bill of rights). Kudos to these young adults taking action.
Thank you, that means a lot to me. 💜
I’m genuinely crying right now... the number of women who dismissed my story or asked questions that put the onus on ME or who just flat out called me a liar (because victims of sexual assault always get all the money 🙄) still disgusts me years later. “Why didn’t you press charges?” Is the most common thing I’m…
Serious question: do we think SHS actually agrees with the things she spouts from the podium OR is she just that vapid & devoid of knowledge that she doesn’t even realize the lies she’s repeating?
I highly recommend the documentary Anita. I believe it’s on Hulu or Netflix but I frequently lie when I’m confused. It’s worth paying for it on iTunes or your preferred service.
Personally I’d rather go to the latter scene than the former. Sounds WAY more fun!
We made the cake, the food, got beer & wine, put twinkle lights in the backyard, made the invitations, borrowed a speaker for our iTunes playlist, etc etc etc. Cost less than $1000 for 100+ people over the course of 5 months. We still have people tell us it was the most fun they’d ever had at a wedding. I have great…
You are 100% correct! Too many white women mistrust other women, particularly WOC. I’m white, I voted for HRC but the opposition to her candidacy from other white women at the time (pre-election) & their enabling an openly misogynistic racist punk just stunned me. These women were willing to IGNORE (not forgive)…
Didn’t see your reply before I made mine. Mea culpa.
May his rage & his inability to process words cause all that KFC & McDonald’s to let loose a clot that goes straight to his cerebral cortex causing a massive, irreversible stroke.
This is damn near perfectly written, Mr. Young. Thank you.

He got PRISON. I don’t think it’s enough, but at his age it’s probably a death sentence. Beyond that, a rapist was convicted and sent to prison. That is a rare occurrence so I’m celebrating even though the sentence is too short.
