So. Like. Let’s be real. Online harassment isn’t okay. That’s a fact. Name calling isn’t okay either. Calling a woman a slut because she wears low cut tops is just dumb.

This should all go really well.

No the real racists are the ones who call the people constantly calling someone a racist the real racists. Wow, this is a fun game! I wonder who invented it???

Lisa needs braces

Perhaps the worst, dumbest thing in that entire thread is when she provides her definition of a “scene”: “a scene explains something”.

The report is a report. It was never Mueller’s mandate to indict anyone. It was to investigate and report his findings. He did that, and it’s up to Congress to decide what to do with the information.

Most people bought the Barr spin that Trump was exonerated and there wasn’t anything else in the report. Because nobody actually read the thing, including almost every member of congress AND the press, there was no push back on it. Mueller just came out and shot down the original spin and said out loud that Trump

Real life isn’t a fucking Aaron Sorkin show. There are no such thing as thunderous monologues that win the day.

It’s not clear to me how getting Mueller to make some public statements about his report that ran clearly counter to Trump’s characterization of it hurts anyone, and I haven’t seen anyone saying they thought this would be some Aaron Sorkin monologue-esque moment where Mueller scored a fatality on Trump’s Presidency

“Tarantino has done some truly awful movies”

I thought I was the only one who really disliked that movie. Was seriously bored and kind of disgusted by his self indulgence.

Really? No one’s ever mentioned that before.

God the Hateful Eight was a disappointment.  Talk about playing to your perceived-but-not-actual strengths.

How do you know someone doesn’t watch superhero movies? Don’t worry, they’ll tell you!

You don’t have to pay attention right now.

Yar, she were more beast than woman.

Tarantino has another long, sentimental film in his canon of work, and that’s ‘Jackie Brown’. In that film it was Pam Greer and Robert Forester who provided the mood of characters now past their prime and looking at an uncertain future.

I was wondering if that bizarro Guardian opinion piece about why Tarantino needs to be cancelled was going to show up here as a GJI link. It’s been a hell of a week so far between that and film twitter saying Scorsese needs a gifted female editor to rein in his overly macho impulses.

Tarantino sucks toes!

Tony Stark is pretty clearly not on board with overt  racism or sexism, and Bruce Wayne is a major philanthropist who’s personally paid for the rehabilitation of at least two of his opponents-Harvey Dent and the Mad Hatter. Neither would be remotely on board with trump.
