This. Enemy encounters feel dynamic and exciting. I totally understand why the weapon limitations frustrate people but I also really appreciate the game design reasons for doing so.

I love Destiny and Cayde-6 but this bit is really weak. Still its more Destiny and there’s enough of a hook here (seeing the final city attacked) to make me want to see more.

The point is that the 100s of hours you have to put in to get the gun will suck because you will be getting destroyed by people who dropped real money. The writer played those games before because they were fun. Getting wrecked because of microtransations is not fun.
