DSG are inherently rougher from a stop. However, I really do not have much of an issue in my GTI. Of course, I do a lot of city driving and anticipate when to accelerate so I don’t accelerate hard from a stop right away.

DCT are inherently rougher from a stop other transmissions. 

DCTs are inherently rougher from a stop. Manuals are definitely more engaging and fun, but not faster or as fuel efficient. Of course, you may give a greater weight to fun than absolute acceleration or fuel efficiency. Nothing wrong in that.

The Velostar N is more of a pure track car (relatively speaking), more of a “specialist”. It also has a “boy-racer” styling, probably because its market includes a lot of boy-racers. It is problematic for middle age guys because it makes them seem like they have seriously regressed. lol

I wonder how the pricing dynamics would change if a store had to pay the the taxes on the regular (or marked up) price rather then the discounted price at which it was sold. Not practical, but I am curious.
