still on high rotate in my house. Bread and butter, western movies, surfin bird, nashville cats, you can't go wrong. I can remember when "am" radio was a little bit like a tarantino soundtrack, you just didn't know what song was going to come on next and the tonal shifts were huge, leapy lee to a queen song, the

I heard he collaborated with a kiwi lady for these song selections. She dug out songs, presented them to Quentin and he made his choices. These songs feature strongly in k-tel compilations of my youth and dave dee (etc) were a big selling group in NZ in the late sixties.

It was a good watch, the nature of a convention heirachy was interesting. $25 for a signature from the high ranking guys who had lines in the movie down to $5.00 for the extras who stood in the background. You get to pick up on the naked ambition and sheer charisma you'd need to break out of those sort of roles.

three sides? gee maybe one album but your talking about an EP? What track list, "the river, sherry and you can look (but you'd better not touch) does hungry heart make the cut?

your calling "the Band" American? or is the argument the best band from the continent? Where does Loverboy fit in then?

American Beer, i know those 2 words but together they make no sense.

I hope someone is looking out for Dylan?

Can't go past those boys for that smooth layered sound.

Obscure simpson reference, well done sir.

Quiet riot? I know those words but together they make no sense?

Well I hope this time they stay on the road and keep off the moors, stupid Americans.

and the creedence song, your gotta mention that.

silly musicians, doing things off the cuff, wouldn't have happened at a steely dan session.

I saw a werewolf of Dublin !

or Kasdans?

Great as a Sth African cop in the apartheid era, Stander.

Including one called cancer as we've just recently found out. Wonder what Random House would have made of that.

Thats three mentions of phill collins on this thread, you've had your first warning.

Ahh the days when late night tv would skewer a random guest.
