That boy Lennon and his words, always there with a memorable quote.

Thats a bonus, every week it would keep improving, instead of the long slow death to '96 that we afterwards.

Raimi looks so much like a young Lou Reed and brings such intensity. Watching him I can believe all the stuff that Mo Tucker used to say about Reed in the velvets, how she looked up to him so much, leading onto the disappointment of the 90's Reed and the U2 tour. Best show I've seen and now already a short hand for

Now Amy Adams is the night of the museum one, not the red head thats married to Borat is that right?

Gives one more thing for Peter Hook to cry into.

This is what we get for slagging them off for interviewing the matchbox 20 guy, an obscure list of movies that no one will have time to plough through or enjoy.

They're certainly trying to reinvent some hipster cred this week aren't they. I mean someone was on here last night praising Garbage.

You're talking apartheid era sth africa for this video and the album? Could have played a part in no-body hearing it and the small faces reference, things stood still in the republic there for a few years as most artists wouldn't play there (apart from Queen and few money grabbing others). Knocking me out with those American thighs"
Which doesn't make a lot of sense but somehow you know can picture exactly what Bon is on about.

Lou Reed's Arista's Greatest Hits, mixed Velvet songs, right through to his mid age crisis songs of the blue mask.

The Cars first album? Anyone??

I'd be opening the window, thats for sure.

I would pay for a dvd of that, particularly if they all knock on Classic Poe's window at the start. Also some sweet Gilmour licks in the song. It was a very well produced track, sounded great even on the scratchy transistors we all had in those days.

So has he got any Cohen in there? Had he heard the original?

You sir win the interweb for a month. I watched the video again a few times last night and can honestly say its as much punk rock as anything Lydon + co pulled off. Those early shows of theirs must have been remarkable. I can imagine a crowd like the dazed and confused lot turning up to watch these freaks.
