That’s why I pretty much exclusively play Commander. Your “buy in” is the cost of a single deck, and that’s it. You can update as often as you want, or never.

MaRo is the bomb. MTG is far from perfect, and ofc there is cheese and imbalance, but as far as TCG goes, it’s about as good as it gets.

But it wasn’t a mistake, though.

Mistakes were not made. They made the game they wanted to make it. You may want it to be different and that’s fine. But the definition of a “mistake” is not “they didn’t do what I wanted them to do.”

I’m not convinced that mistakes were even made. It’s played in a humorous way and I think sometimes we just read way too much into it.

I’m actually really glad they dropped the extra stuff, the Switch is fast and the OS isn’t annoying.

Sorry, this is stupid, this would be like saying, “Let’s remove all the rape cases from Law and Order SVU because it makes me feel uncomfortable.” I will never understand compromising ones story just because the actions that are taken make a viewer uncomfortable. I don’t think I was ever going to play this game, but it saddens me that the developer felt she had to remove and rewrite a scene simply because it made people uncomfortable. If it gave them the option to opt-out in any way, and they didn’t take it, that’s on them.
