I drove huge farm equipment and swathed canola. All I need is to ride in a combine and I have some bucket list items ticked off.

Holy pants I’ve had a busy month. I miss you guys, not that I post much. mostly lurk. perpetually in the greys.

I’m going to Australia in November and you can bet your boots I’ll be grabbing some covering swimwear to cover my pasty Canadian skin.

We don’t even use antibacterial soap at the hospital. Just plain old soap, and plain old alcohol sanitizer.

This is exactly why I adopted my pup through a shelter and not a rescue. I felt that a lot of the rescues were really super invasive about stuff. The shelter had a long application but it was basically “Make sure he has his short and he has to sleep inside”. :3 No House checks, no concerns that my yard isn’t fully…

My work is very understanding. :) I’m better already, my doggie is helping (As is Pokemon Go, oddly!). I’ve been on the same meds for 8 years now, so they’re starting to be less effective.

On tuesday I had a panic attavk at work and had to take a mental health day so I wouldn’t spontaneously combust. it was out of nowhere, too, just bam, anxiety

I actually uncomfortably twitched at the villain. he looks and acts like actual people I have met.

Me too. It’s like the pizza burger at Boston Pizza. It’s an abomonation that needs to be in my face.

That kind of black and white mindset seems to go hand in hand with a lot of conservative thinking. I’ve had some oilpatch family members tell me I’m not allowed to use anything that is made with/uses a fossil fuel because I have issues with the way the oil industry works.

And let’s not forget the barf-worthy “I loved her first” for the dad-daughter dance.

This wasn’t an interview, but the same situation. We’d gotten a ton of snow and I left early, but my bus didn’t come at all. My boss berated me for being late (by about 10 minutes) and told me that the bus (two buses, that’s how early I left) not coming at all was an excuse, and not a reason.
