You are, of course, absolutely correct, and I apologize for my poor choice of words.
The original trilogy are the only movies I still own on VHS, precisely for this very reason. I do own the DVDs, I got them at a very cheap rate, but Han shot first.
I’m not even interested in any of the TV shows except for Mandalorian. RoS effectively killed my desire for more Star Wars movies while Disney is running the show.
It would be nice. There isn't a single Star Wars property that isn't directly connected to Luke Skywalker. *Yawns in Shyriiwook*
Wouldn't the Andy Griffith Show count as a cop comedy? I'd say that show was pretty darn successful.
The snipe hunt was also the plot of a very funny episode of Cheers, back in season 3, I think. I guess that would be about thirty five years ago!

Hope he got some ice for that burn.
Well, also, at least some of the writers too, because my god, some of the writing on RoS was cringey, and I don't think that was all Abrams
Riker had a lot of really good moments too. It was mostly the women and Geordie who come out behind.
I had a great Dell from around 2004. Computer was still running good ten years later.
I don’t have a whole lot of thoughts on this, mainly because every time I try and rewatch Voyager, I get bogged down by how truly terrible S2 is.
