Andromeda was pretty good for about two seasons. It had a really interesting cast and a number of cool female characters. But... It definitely took a hard left turn somewhere, and by all accounts Sorbo bears at least 80% of the blame.

Generations wasn't really TNG-as-dumb-action-movie so much as a feature -length TNG episode. For better or worse, it's the only TNG movie that gets the characters right.

I actually don’t mind S1, they were just figuring out the show and the characters. Neelix isn’t as terminally terrible as he becomes in S2 onward, and the show was playing…
