I listened to this album again at work last week. It makes me feel...feelings and stuff.

I am right there with you. I’ve never had the best eyesight, and as I get older, it’s not getting any better. Having hard to read text has made some games almost unplayable.

I don’t know. I’ve never been able to drive one of my heroes, but if someone in an abouts my area has an Alpine A110, a Lancia Stratos, or something like that and is feeling charitable enough to let me go for a drive, I’ll let you know.

They acknowledged the 914's existence! I’m so happy right now!

I didn’t read where the GTI was mentioned in the article because I’m hungover and an idiot. I stand by my recommendation, however!

Have you considered a MK V or MK VI Volkswagen GTI with the DSG option? Its a fun car, and the automatic transmission is quick and snappy little gear box. It should keep you happy until your ankle heals.

My high school band teacher bought one with money he embezzled from us. You’d think he would have at least tried to buy something slightly more interesting.

and I bet he had Montana plates on his car, too.

Damn it, that was good.

Until now, I thought the term “Built by some blokes in a shed” was a bit of self deprecating humor.

There was a banana yellow 1969 Chevelle for sale in my town when I was 15. I hadn’t really been that into cars until then but something about that car really made me want nothing else in my life except that poorly painted big piece of American iron. Before then I had only really been into cars as a means of locomotion.

The late 90s Ford Escort. I have never driven a car that felt so cheap that it wanted to kill you. Almost as if the Ford company was angry that you would dare to buy such a thing and wished you harm from it. This car should have never existed, and I should never have had to suffer through it.

It was interesting that the Cards sent him down to 1A ball. I got to watch him play a few games with the Johnson City Cardinals. It was hard not to cheer for a guy like that.

I’d love to, but two things are stopping me. First is the fact that it is going to rain all weekend/maybe flood. Second is the fact I do not own a 968. Maybe one of you wonderful philanthropists out there might help with that?

2013 Volkswagen GTI

Well, it’s red and its well known that the red ones go fasta. Also, you can never have enough Doka. Still CP, though.

The future is filled with crossovers...this makes me so sad. I don’t like that future and just want to drive something that isn’t a bloated station wagon. I think I’ll just buy used for now...

No one is going to read this, but this year, I want to purchase a Volkswagen GTI. I have wanted one for a long time and I’m at the place financially where I feel like I can do it. So I’m going to make it happen in the spring.

I’d be proud to have that in my neighborhood. I’d drive by it every day, and the directions to my house would be “first left after the Sherman”.
