According to news and online reports, lots of the Machines are turned off so you can't Opt-Out of something that's not offered. Also reports of lower than normal traffic for your average day much less what is usually one of the busiest travel days.

@diw321: I think it's an RSA token. It receives a number from a server that the user inputs to verify that they have the token in hand. We do the same thing here at work to allow people to connect to the secure network from home.

@nesstee: Why would that matter? Isn't it just an RSA Token that gives a random number handed out by the servers to authenticate that you are the user? If so the number should be random each time and it wouldn't matter how many times you used it.
